Death of 2015, long live 2016

Hey friends, sinners´n´saints!

We have had a turbulent 2015 with a lot changes, for the better in the end.

One drummer left the band 2 weeks before our first UK tour and luckily we had a friend who could step up and make it possible for us to go through that war. It was a pretty hard thing to hit us in the face and we made a great thing out of it.
When we got home, dirty as hell, we licked our wounds and smoothed our souls from this rock´n´roll journey. We fell down, thrashed into pieces, we picked up the pieces and put our heads into place again and had a great new start.

After we´ve been working as hell to find a new drummer, that were made of the right kind of stuff and wasn´t afraid to follow the line we´re producing in this band. A lot of stuff fell into the right place.

We left the label we were signed to in Canada and signed with German label Metalapolis. Who feels like beeing made of the right hard stuff and believe in what we are made of from the right side of track.

We finally found this one more guitarist to fill up the shoes to make our sound heavier and more solid. And he´s very compatible as a human with the rest of us.

Our family has grown to be very strong and we´re here to get you for real. And we´re looking forward to come to your town to see you all. So scream and shout that you want us in your town.

2015 has given us a bunch of great shows where we met a lot of great people who been attending to shows we´ve done. We´re so grateful that we  met all of you.

Early 2016 our album "Birth Of Rage" will be re- realesed on Metalapolis. And during this fall we´ve been writing a lot of new songs for the album after.

Hope you all have had a great 2015 and are looking forward to 2016 just like we do. All the best wishes for you!

We're still here! The album Birth Of Rage will be re-released early next year on Metalapolis Records. Meanwhile we're writing new stuff for next album..

During this summer we have gone through some changes. At first we introduced a new drummer and we also got signed to Metalapolis Records, Germany.
At last but not least we addded one more guitarist to our family.
So for sure, there will be a lot of hard´n´heavy rock in the future.

We recorded our last show. Pretty good sound and pretty good live shot.

During this show we introduced Whipping Princess new drummer Michael J Strandh and also our guest on guitar, Christian Lindberg.

We had a fucking great time and made an awesome gig. It was like the pieces fell into it´s place. We also have a couple of new songs on this set.

Vi söker ny trummis!!!!

Whipping Princess är ett seriöst satsande rockband som söker en stabil rutinerad trummis som vet vad det innebär att våga satsa. Dvs repa för att vara tajta som band, tillsammans skriva nytt material, dela lokalhyra och vara flexibel. Det är mycket arbete. 
Detta innebär att du blir en del av bandet och vi lägger även stor vikt på att du passar som person i bandet eftersom vi umgås väldigt mycket.

WHIPPING PRINCESS is dead - LONG live WHIPPING PRINCESS

Around a week ago Behzad made a decision to leave Whipping Princess. It was sad news for the rest of WP.
It was kind of shocking though there´s an upcoming UK tour just around the corner. Lets say it was something right out of the blue!
The last show with Behzad is on March 14 in Höganäs, Sweden. If you´re nearby don´t hesitate to come!

Welcome Niclas Andersson! 
Happily for us. We made a call to a great friend and a great drummer that we have had in our sphere that were able to jump in and supersede. At this point there´s no decision if he´ll stay after the tour. At first Niclas will help us make this tour a blast and when we get home again we will have a discussion to see if both parts feel like we´re going for the same mission.

We love this guy and he´s great to have in the band and a great drummer. We have had a couple rehearsals which feels awesome. He´s a really cool looking, awesome rocking skin whipper that have a place in our hearts. He got a long musical history and makes it swing really good with us.
So don´t forget to give Niclas a monstrous welcome!
